Left Seat
Choreography: Micaela Taylor
Music: Ezio Bosso, Emptyset, Roly Porter
Costumes: Meleta Buckstaff
leftseat explores the recalcitrance and uncertainty of life, the continual necessity of facing the unexpected. “I have an idea of how life is going to go,” says Micaela, “but it pans out differently. I want to go right—it goes left. There’s no particular answer, though, only agreeing that there’s always this pull or shift or interruption.”

Cannibalistic Sanctuary
Choreography: Olivier Wevers
Music: Jay Wadley
Text: Olivier Wevers

“Cannibalistic Sanctuary” is a very personal, yet universal, awakening to self-discovery and self-acceptance. A Shamanic Journey after the death of my father revealed profound wounds in need of tending…a forest, a beast, a teddy bear, a child’s epiphany…the relentless struggle. Once on the tracks will you find any reprieve from the perpetual judging voice in your head? Existential equilibrium needs dialogue and scrutiny as it arrives at the train station for the first time again. Care to discover?
